DESCRIPTION

Wooden Ships Comments on this Cheverton Crusader Sloop Cheverton Crusader designed and built by Cheverton Brothers of Cowes in 1960. The Crusader was a popular family cruising boat, designed to be an affordable boat with plenty of volume for the length. The strip plank construction makes for a strong and rigid hull and helps maximise the volume without large obtrusive frames. The boat has been used for family cruising around the West Country each season and stored ashore every winter. Large cockpit and comfortable interior with 3 good sized berths and 6’ headroom. An ideal family cruising boat offering good value fun afloat Some issues have been recently found in the boat and she is being offered at a very attractive price. She has a basically sound hull with lots of volume, an excellent engine and great rigging and sails. Contact us for a full run down of what work is required.
