DESCRIPTION

Wooden Ships Comments on this Buchanan East Anglian Sloop

Alan Buchanan East Anglian sloop, sail No. 386Y.

Built in 1962 by Dixon Kerly Ltd of Maldon, Essex.

The recent history of this boat is not well known but she has evidently been well loved over the years with an updated Selden rig and some brand new sails. Given a recent refit including all external paint and varnish and a rebuilt cockpit, complete engine service, new batteries and new bilge pump.

It is clear that in the not too distant past she has had a lot of money spent on her with a new deck, toe rails and rubbing strake, plus a complete new Selden rig.

A comfortable and easy to handle cruising boat, perfect for single handed sailing or for a couple to explore.
