DESCRIPTION

Wooden Ships Comments on this Alan Buchanan sloop Designed by Alan Buchanan and built by R J Prior and Son of Burnham in 1961. She has had notable success as a racing boat, winning the Round the Island race on her maiden voyage to her new home in North Wales. Over the years she has been cruised and raced by some very experienced owners who have all proven her to be a fast and sea kindly boat, easily handled yet very capable. In the previous ownership the interior and rig was overhauled to make her an easily managed and comfortable family cruising boat but still keeping her speed and racing ability.
