“Biography

We purchased her from the original owners in the UK in 1999. From our base in Porthmadog, North Wales we cruised the Irish Sea, South West Ireland, the East Coast of Southern Ireland and Northern Ireland. We’ve taken her round the famous Mull of Kintyre onto the West Coast of Scotland, returning via the Crinan canal.

In 2003 we set off for the Mediterranean crossing the Bay of Biscay and running down the Portuguese and Spanish coasts to enter the med at Gibraltar. In 2004 we spent most of the summer cruising the Balearics before recrossing to Barcelona and wintering in the Golf du Lion. For 2005 we decided the old Volvo engine needed replacing and found Monaco Marine in Frejus to supply and install a modern shiny new 39hp Yanmar engine.

After cruising North West Italy and off lying islands we spent a brief time in Corsica before heading over to Ostia (Italy, very handy for visiting Rome) to over winter. 2006 saw us heading slowly south stopping at all the obvious must visit places, Naples, the Amalfi Coast etc. We turned east after the Straights of Messina to transit along the bottom of Italy and eventually crossed to Corfu in July 2006. We spent the winter in Lefkas marina but from 2007 to present she had spent every winter out the water in the Cleopatra yard in Preveza.

She has proved a solidly reliable, confidence inspiring cruising boat.”
