DESCRIPTION

Engine compartment soundproofed with fire retardant foam sheet, 2005 (BS standard ) TX 70 controls consul mounted on the Cobra 750 cockpit pedestal. Large s/s “destroyer type” steering wheel Cockpit instrument panel with ignition key, starter button, low oil pressure, low charging, water temperature warning lights, audible alarms, and rev counter. Internally mounted oil pressure, temperature, and ampere gauges and a battery condition indicator Two x 12 volt 80 amp hour batteries. One traction battery for engine starting and one Leisure battery for auxiliary equipment. Both operate through a four position “make before break” switch in saloon. Alternator battery charging controlled by four way Sterling “smart” charger (fitted June 2002). Solar panel for trickle battery charging. Access to the engine is via saloon mounted panel/ port locker panels and via a sealed cockpit sole hatch. Two 25 litre plastic fuel containers in stern locker. 40 gallon s/s water tank fitted centrally below cockpit sole, feeding galley cold water supply through an electric pump and emergency hand pump 10 gallon flexible water tank fitted in internal s/board locker feeding hand washbasin in heads. Sea toilet in heads compartment, fitted with anti-syphon inlet valve. General equipment Wheel steering COBRA 750 pedestal in cockpit includes throttle/gear controls and Plastimo Olympic 130 binnacle compass with light. Belt driven Autohelm 3000 wheel autopilot with cockpit mountable control panel, hand held remote control and windvane sensor/control. Accommodation (external) The cockpit will seat four people and the helmsman comfortably. There is a very large st/board wet locker accessed from cockpit and saloon for fenders, warps etc with room for inflatable dinghy. . There are two other smaller cockpit lockers, one is a gas bottle locker venting to the exterior, and the other has storage for outboard fuel tank and funnels etc, The stern locker/helmsman’s seat has room for two 25 litres spare diesel containers and fenders. Also accommodates the emergency steering gear. There is also an extensive collection of tools and small spares on board.
