The Colvic Countess 37 Deck Saloon is a capable offshore cruising yacht, well proven for long distance liveaboard cruising. Their attractive lines and high volume interior offer generous, comfortable cruising for their length whilst the protected cockpit and wide decks inspire confidence in adverse conditions. 'Odin' is finished to a far higher standard than most, is still in her original ownership and is in very good condition for her age. She has been very well maintained with many upgrades across the years including a bow thruster and recent very lightly used sails.

Accommodation
The accommodation offers up to seven berths with two double cabins outside of the saloon and a pilot berth for passagemaking.
FORECABIN - Fitted with a double V berth with infill to from a double berth, generous storage in various lockers and shelves, two opening portlights and steps to large opening hatch to foredeck.
HEADS - Aft of the forecabin, full width and effectively operating as both an en suite and day heads, with Jabsco marine toilet, shower with electric pump out, washbasin, hanging locker, opening portlight and plenty of storage.
SALOON - The spacious saloon has a U-shaped settee to port with table which drops to form a large double berth, and removable smaller coffee table for lighter duties. The deck saloon design creates a light and spacious feel, with full standing headroom throughout, two portlights, side windows and two large opening hatches providing ample light and ventilation whilst excellent storage is provided in various lockers, cupboards and drawers.
GALLEY - Linear galley forward to starboard, equipped with a 3-burner gas hob, microwave, large single sink, large top loading fridge (dual voltage, located below helm position), excellent storage, waste bin, lockers, cutlery drawer, chopping board, cocktail cabinet and opening portlight. A good selection of cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery are included within the sale.
WHEELHOUSE HELM AND PILOT BERTH - Located midships to starboard and fitted with a comfortable fixed bucket helm seat above a pilot berth, ideal for keeping watch on long passages.
EN SUITE - Spacious compartment aft to starboard leading to the owners cabin, equipped with a Jabsco marine toilet, basin, mirror, wet hanging space and further storage.
OWNERS CABIN - Spacious full width cabin fitted with large transverse double berth, dressing table, small settee, storage areas, overhead and reading lighting, opening portlight and large hatch to aft deck.
CHART TABLE - Aft to port equipped with navigation equipment, stereo system, electrical distribution panel, chart stowage and storage beneath navigators seat.
WORKSHOP - Located aft of the chart table, it provides lots of useful storage and access to various systems including engine.
GENERAL EQUIPMENT - Teak joinery throughout to a high standard with blue cotton saloon upholstery, beige cotton cabin upholstery and complimenting carpets and curtains. Pressurised hot and cold water supply throughout via a calorifier with immersion coil. LCD television. Gas cabin heater (may not meet current regulations). Gas bottle locker with two bottles.
Mechanical Systems
Located under companionway, Thornycroft 56hp four cylinder diesel engine. Fresh water cooled via heat exchanger. Single lever controls at both helms with electric start. Shaft drive to fixed 3-bladed propeller. 150-litre fuel capacity. Engine panel in cockpit with rev counter, temperature, fuel level, ammeter and oil pressure gauges. Sleipner Side-power bow thruster with controls at cockpit helm and remote control.
The engine appears in good cosmetic condition and has been serviced regularly by her owner. A selection of spares are included and the inboard shaft seal and cutlass bearing were replaced in 2015.
Electrical Systems
4 x 12v Batteries (domestic, engine, windlass all new 2016, bowthruster battery 2017) charged via engine alternator. Shorepower system with ring mains, Waeco battery charger and immersion coil for water heating. Split charge diode system. Wind generator. Full cabin lighting. Electrical distribution panel and 12v socket.

Masthead bermudan sloop rig. Sailspar deck-stepped anodised aluminium mast and boom. Solid kicker strut. Stainless steel standing rigging. Terylene running rigging. In-mast furling mainsail system. Colvic Countess 37 deck saloon, moulded in 1990 by Colvic Craft Ltd and launched in 1991 by her current owner. White GRP hull (hull returned to gelcoat and coated with Gelshield for preventative purposes below the waterline), superstructure and grey painted non-slip decks. Encapsulated cast iron long fin keel. Dual wheel steering to skeg hung rudder. Self draining centre cockpit.
