In 2020, she underwent a complete bottom, keel, and rib replacement. The bottom was replaced with 2 layers of high-quality Sapele plywood with 4 layer applications of epoxy adding exceptional strength, integrity, and a solid ride. This is a true no-soak bottom. No need to soak the boat in the water before using it every season. During her 2020 restoration, the original Chris Craft "K" engine was repainted in the classic Chris Craft blue and reinstalled with a thorough examination of the transmission to make sure her drivetrain functions with reliability and precision. This Chris Craft is strong, flexing her 95 HP muscle that provides an easy to enjoy cruising speed of 13-18 knots for an enjoyable day with family and friends. During this restoration, the electrical system was upgraded from 6 to 12 volts, providing exceptional starting power and complete reliability of function. The exterior and interior have been treated with a 12 layer application of Epiphany marine varnish making the deep, rich, mahogany hues, appear to be almost liquid to the eye. It displays a very simple beauty to look at. The new owner will have the luxury of many admirers wherever OLD GLORY decides to play for the day.
