Classic wooden pilot schooner 35', replica of the chasse-marée from 1994 (St. Malo).

This classical sail yacht is a 35ft wooden long keel schooner with a 10 ft retractable bowsprit, a replica of the typical Chasse-Marée vessels of the 1900s. Built in St. Malo (France) in 1994, the 'tidal hunter' is a fast and seaworthy ship. The French authorities have placed her in category 1 (ocean-going), and she is now offered for sale by the second owner. 
The hull and deck are made of African hardwood Afzelia, all of which is in good condition. The planks are 4cm thick and attached to oak beams by means of bronze screws. 
The current owners have sailed with her on the Belgian, Dutch, French and English coast, and have prepared her to make much longer voyages. She has been completely repainted in 2018, both above deck as well as the hull. All rigging and sails have been updated in 2015, including the winches. The Yanmar motor is in great condition, as are the marine grade batteries. All on-board navigational equipment has also been updated so she’s ready to set sail.
