DESCRIPTION

2005 Charter Cats SA Jaguar

"SEADEUCE" was custom built in Capetown, South Africa for her first Owner. She was then sailed on her own bottom on a 7,000+ mile trip to Florida, where she stayed until the current Owners purchased her in 2009. Since then she has made yearly trips to Bahamas, South Carolina and back to Florida. In Florida she has been kept on a custom lift, with all the benefits of being out of the water when not in use.

The Jaguar model is known for its spacious cockpit and incredibly open feel, especially when the wide doors are open to the main salon. Interior space is reminiscent of larger vessels, with two aft cabins and a large king cabin forward for the Owners. Exterior we find a well designed dinghy lift on the transom, a large cockpit, ample side decks leading forward, a number of opening ports for interior ventilation, anchor windlass on the center line, with seats on both bow pulpits. All lines lead back to the cockpit for ease of use by a short handed crew. The custom hard top added by this Owner allows you to stand on it when working with the mainsail, or use it for sunbathing, while providing cover for those in the cockpit.

Vessel Walkthrough

Entering aft into the cockpit, there are glass 4-panel double doors leading to the main salon. Upon entering you will have the large dinette in front of you, with the U-Shaped galley to your starboard. Port and starboard there are stairs leading down into the hulls. Port hull has the head forward, next aft is the shower/vanity followed by a hallway with many storage lockers. Aft of the stairway you find the Queen aft cabin with engine underneath the berth. Starboard hull has Owners king cabin forward with head and shower, another hallway of lockers and storage, aft of the steps is another Queen cabin with engine under the berth.

Exterior aft has steps on both hulls leading to the water, with the dinghy lift in the middle. Going forward you have the large cockpit area, followed by side decks taking you to the spacious bow area. Trampolines are port and starboard of a gangway to the anchor and genoa roller furler.

There is a seat at the head of each bow for relaxing or dolphin watching.

Broker's Comments

"SEADEUCE" has provided her Owners with a safe, comfortable platform for cruising the Bahamas and East Coast US. She is capable of much more, as her original delivery from Cape Town to Florida would suggest. 3 cabins, open salon, spacious cockpit with ease of access to the water, convenient dinghy storage on lift, ease of sailing with roller furling and all lines led to the cockpit, seats on all 4 corners of the hull, good access to all the working parts for maintenance, all combine to make "SEADEUCE" an exceptionally strong value in todays market. Come see for yourself and get started on your sailing adventure!!!!
