Description
'Rooster' (previous names Driftwood and Dream Weaver) was Braidbar's fifteenth boat to be completed. She is comfortable with a traditional feel and would be suitable as a pleasure or liveaboard vessel.

Construction
Welded steel plate hull and topsides of 10mm,6mm and 4mm. LPG storage locker in the bow, stainless steel water tank beneath the well deck, hardwood glazed cabin doors, a steel side hatch, port hole and hopper style windows, steel aft doors and sliding hatch, brass mushroom vents, cratch frame (new cratch cover on order), pigeon box. Internal fit-out is in veneered plywood with hardwood trim above the gunwale, laminate and carpeted panelling below the gunwale, and a selection of vinyl and carpeted floorings. External paintwork in dark blue panels, cream coach lines and white cabin roof. We understand the hull was last blacked and anodes renewed in 2019.
Accommodation
Forward saloon – Morso multi fuel stove on a tiled plinth with a tiled surround, corner storage unit and shelving, sofa-bed, radiator, windows with patterned curtains, timber and glazed double doors to the forepeak, removable steps (doubling as a useful coal store) giving access to the water tank located under the forepeak.
Galley – fitted base units in an L shape with ample storage, raised glazed display/storage cabinet, a stainless steel sink and drainer with mixer tap, tiled splash back, marble effect laminate work top, free-standing LPG cooker, tiled upstand, radiator and side doors opposite.
Corridor to starboard leads to-:
WC & shower – hip bath in a fully tiled enclosure with shower attachment and curtain, wash basin with storage beneath and mirror above, cassette toilet, vinyl tile effect flooring, frosted window.
Master cabin – fitted double bed, full height wardrobe locker, overhead lockers and reading lights, under-bed storage, radiator, port hole windows, door to the engine room.
Engine room – access to the engine and bilge, engine control panel, electrical systems, doorway and hatch to the stern.
Engine
BMC 1.8 4 cylinder diesel engine coupled to a shaft drive via a PRM gearbox and fitted with a single lever engine control. Engine hours clock reads 9478. Engine serviced May 2022.
