Channel Island 22 is a popular motor cruiser ideal for fishing and family cruising. This example is very nicely presented for her age and is fitted with the economic and easily kept twin Ford Meteor 54hp diesel engines. This vessel would make an ideal first boat for exploring the Estuaries and Rivers of the East and Kent Coasts. A 2021 survey report is available on request.
Accommodation :This Channel Island 22 has a very roomy wheelhouse with 5ft 8in headroom. The Wheelhouse has an insert for the foreword seating area to make it into a large double berth. Aft of the saloon seating is a small galley area with a sink with 50 litre pressurised cold water system. The galley has a twin gas burner hob, oven, with storage cupboards. Opposite the galley is a small head compartment with hand basin, with cold water and marine toilet. Saloon has grey upholstery, with Radio and CD. There is a large cockpit area with all round seating around and storage lockers.

Built in 1990. Blue painted GRP hull, white superstructure with moulded non-slip deck. Wheel steering. Stainless steel stanchions, pulpit. Glass windscreen with chrome surround. Self-draining cockpit.

This Channel Island 22 has twin Ford Meteor 54hp naturally aspirated diesel engines located under the aft cockpit sole, last serviced 2022, shaft drive to bronze three bladed propellors, twin lever controls, 250 litre fuel capacity in one GRP tank, cruising speed of approximately 10 knots with a maximum speed of approximately 18 knots. Last out of water maintenance 2021.Engines have completed 698 hours as at 4th November 2022
Electrical Systems:
3 x 12-volt batteries, one domestic, one engine, and one anchor winch, charging from the engine alternators, shore power connection with 240-volt ring main, and 12-volt battery charger.
