This 'Tender' finds its origin with the mega yacht the Latitude. A super yacht of 52 meters, built by Benetti. Delivered in 2008 as Latinou, this was the dinghy. T/T Latinou, or, Tender To Latinou. After a year at sea, the mega yacht was renamed Latitude, so the tender now bears the name T/T Latitude.

The M/Y Latitude has always sailed around the Caribbean where it was rented to the super rich of the world. Many stars rented the ship after which they also used the Tender. Based on photos, we were able to find out that specifically this tender was used by Rihanna when she vacationed on the Latitude. There are multiple social media references of her using the Latitude and as seen in the photos, she was spotted in the 'tender'.

This is a Castoldi Jet Tender 23, an Italian manufacturer that focuses on building high quality tenders powered by a heavy-duty diesel engine with a Jet drive. The compact jet drive gives good sailing characteristics, both at low speeds and at high speeds.

The boat is equipped with a Yanmar 6 cylinder line diesel engine from Toyota. With the 260 HP strength diesel engine, the boat sails over 60 km/h over the water. The fuel consumption varies between 10 l/h at cruising speed to 20 l/h at full speed.

The maneuverability is amazing. Because of the Jet steering it is possible to literally stop the boat on the water and turn it around its axis. This makes docking child's play. The shallow draft of 0.80 m makes it easy to get to the beach. Because there is no propeller, the boat can reach the beach without damage and the stairs can be folded out on the foredeck. Here you then walk with dry feet on the beach.

It is a very stable boat that feels safe and comfortable at low and high speed. The hull is built from a composition of polyester and kevlar making it incredibly strong. For comfort, there is a Rib around it made of Neoprene hypalon. This gives not only a sporty look, but also comfortable sailing. Fenders are no longer needed when you moor.

The deck, above and inside the boat, is equipped with teak.

The cockpit is equipped with a self-draining system that allows the boat to easily drain water when sailing in heavier weather.

The design of this boat includes a number of comfortable options. For example, the, in the deck concealed, spray hood. This spray hood forms the basis for the deck tent which together with Bimini cover forms a complete tent to protect the boat and its passengers from rain etc. Both with the bimini and the spray hood, cruising speed is fine. The bimini can even withstand a speed of almost 60 km/h.
