The Nicholson 31 needs no introduction, a traditionally styled yacht with pretty lines, it was designed as the successor to the Nicholson 32 - although a foot shorter it proved to be roomier and faster. A hugely seaworthy vessel, they have a comfortable motion with a sensible layout below and make excellent long distance cruisers.

Accommodation
The accommodation offers six berths in two cabins. In forecabin, V berth with infill. Full width heads compartment with marine toilet and washbasin. In saloon, two settee berths, with a pilot berth outboard to port. Fixed table with drop leaves. Chart table to starboard with quarter berth behind and galley opposite. Two burner gimballed gas cooker with grill and oven. Twin stainless steel sinks. Manually pumped water supply. 280litre freshwater capacity. Refrigerator. Television. Eberspacher D$ diesel fired hot air central heating (2017).

Located abaft the companionway, Beta Marine three cylinder 30hp diesel engine, installed new in 2016, with new shaft and propeller . 164 engine hours. Electric start. Construction
Built in 1976 by Camper & Nicholson to a design by Raymond Wall. Dark blue painted GRP hull with white sheer stripe and boottop Teak rubbing strake. White GRP superstructure with moulded non-slip to deck. Long keel with encapsulated lead ballast. Keel hung rudder. Tiller steering. Aft self draining cockpit. The antifoul was stripped and the hull below the waterline epoxied as a preventative measure in 2017.
