DESCRIPTION

WALKTHROUGH

Motor yacht Vaiven features full walk around decks with recessed cleats and an integrated swim platform with dual staircases leading from the open air 14' x 21' aft deck. The aft deck is excellent for entertaining and features stainless steel railing and aluminum cap rails. This area offers additional port and starboard accesses as well as armed-style boarding.

WALKTHROUGH

Motor yacht Vaiven features full walk around decks with recessed cleats and an integrated swim platform with dual staircases leading from the open air 14' x 21' aft deck. The aft deck is excellent for entertaining and features stainless steel railing and aluminum cap rails. This area offers additional port and starboard accesses as well as armed-style boarding.

From the aft deck one enters the lounge area with seating which features floor to ceiling tinted windows with shear window treatments.
Moving forward is the main salon with over 46' of living space surrounded by oversized ABS windows. The ceiling treatments are padded Raffia wicker along with a faux finished crown molding and custom inlaid lighting which illuminates and accents this entire room. To port is a semi-circular leather sofa and custom coffee table with one recliner and 2 club chairs. To starboard is the entertainment center with maple cabinetry and granite top, a 40' Sony flat screen TV, 3 multi zone DSS receiver and amplifier, Apple TV, Logiteck Audio Bluetooth connecter, surround sound speakers, and sub-woofer.
The formal dining area located completely forward features a circular wrap-around built-in settee with a faux coral stone forward bulkhead background. A custom designed hi-lo table is perfect for either cocktails or elegant dining for eight. There is a sky type soffit with rope lighting overhead. Maple buffets with granite tops to starboard provide storage for flatware, wine and table linens. To port is a free standing cabinet for storage. Also, a china cabinet is located in the port side companionway. Forward to starboard is a formal entrance lobby with a Borassa stone flooring with tumble marble inlays. This spacious area is illuminated by oversized windows and provides access to the lower deck via a large circular stairwell. A second staircase leads up to the raised pilothouse as well as access to the starboard side deck. The powder room is also located forward in the starboard companionway and offers mirrored ceiling and Borassa stone flooring with tumble marble inlays. There is a hardwood basin base with oversized stone top and custom made faucet in the aft bulkhead. The custom doorway is maple.
ACCOMMODATIONS
The lower accommodations foyer has silk upholstery and maple walls, which accent Vaiven’s gallery of artwork. Tumble marble borders with inlaid carpeting enlarge the feel of this space. A laundry facility with new full sized, washer and dryer is located to starboard.
Master Stateroom
The master suite located forward, offers a centerline king sized bed with padded upholstery. Hand-carved night tables with lamps are located on both sides. A faux coral stone bulkhead with leather upholstered headboard is accented by halogen spotlights that double as reading lights. The port side houses a built-in desk and the starboard side a built-in bookshelf, both have ample storage drawers. All cabinetry has a crackled finish. The entertainment center includes a 60” Sony flat screen Smart TV with DSS receiver. There is a walk-in cedar lined closet, shoe racks and shelving. Custom carved maple arch doors with elegant lsaworn hardware. Maple shutters cover the ABS port lights and storm shutters. There is rope lighting under bed and valances. Forward of the master stateroom are his and her ensuite baths. The starboard side bath has a 5' tub with granite countertops, mirrored ceiling and faux finished walls. The port side bath has a large glass enclosed shower with granite countertops, mirrored ceiling and faux finished walls. Borassa stone flooring completes both baths.
Port Aft Guest Stateroom
Shoji screens covering the port lights behind the queen bed, which features a raw silk upholstery base. Both natural lighting and rope lights gently illuminate this area to give this suite its character with silk cover walls. A maple desk area with telephone/intercom system is conveniently located bedside. A travertine marble vanity with drawer is on the starboard side with the entertainment center housing a 32” Samsung smart TV with Apple TV. There is a cedar lined wardrobe closet with additional under bed storage. Custom maple arched doorways with faux finished accenting. Ensuite bath includes a white tile 5' bath tub, Corian countertops, Borassa stone flooring and lsaworn hardware throughout.
Starboard Aft Guest Stateroom
The shear sliding shutters draws the attention and also act as a headboard for the queen bed with raw silk upholstery base. A maple desk area with telephone/intercom system is located bedside for convenience. A travertine marble vanity is located to port, as well as the entertainment center with a 32” Samsung smart TV and Apple TV. There is a cedar lined wardrobe closet with additional under bed storage. Custom maple arched doors and doorways. Ensuite bath includes a white tile 5' bath tub, Corian countertops, Bora stone flooring wallpaper, and lsaworn hardware throughout.
Port-Mid Twin Stateroom
This stateroom features twin beds with raw silk upholstery bases, maple bulkheads add to the charm of this cabin. There is cedar lined closet and entertainment center which houses a 32” Samsung smart TV and Apple TV. The bath features a shower, Borassa stone flooring, Corian countertops and wall coverings.
Crew Quarters
The crew quarters located completely forward offer a U-shaped lounge area, ample storage, complete entertainment center with Apple TV, Direct TV, DSS receiver, ships monitoring system and full size Miele Professional series stackable washer/dryer. The Captain's cabin (port aft) has a queen size bed, 28’ Samsung smart TV, CD stereo, cedar hanging locker, ensuite head with oversized shower. Forward are (2) identical cabins to port and starboard, which feature upper/lower berths, vanity area and head with shower in each. An escape hatch to the fore deck is located between these cabins.
GALLEY
Coming from the salon and continuing forward one enters the galley/dining area which has a 25' Corian countertop to port, stainless steel appliance fronts, (2) stainless steel sinks, maple paneling, and maple cabinetry. A built-in center island with tiled surface and dual passageways, to port and starboard (another Broward first), gives this area an open feeling with practical accessibility for both crew and guests. The padded ceiling surface with pecky cypress ceiling accents, and faux coral columns flank the "country kitchen", which features a faux finish table and seating for eight. The floor surfaces are Amtico vinyl with dark oak color.
PILOTHOUSE
The focal point of Vaiven’s wheelhouse is the leather padded ebony console which houses every conceivable navigational and communication equipment. The DMP switch controls with back lighting make this the most advanced and ergonomically designed pilothouse ever in a Broward. Maple paneling and bullnose with caramel colored padded surfaces and carpeting give this space a feeling of elegance. A leather helm Recaro chair moves from port to starboard on a stainless-steel track for better helm positioning. Port aft an L-shaped seating area provides viewing for up to six guests. Chart storage is located under the settee.
FLYBRIDGE
Has port helm station with complete navigation system, with bench seating on both sides and storage underneath. Aft port is a large L-shaped built-in cushioned seating area with (2) hi-lo tables for outside dining. To starboard is a refrigerator, sink and Gaggenau grill. Moving aft to either side of the mast are (3) built-in adjustable chaise lounges to starboard and (2) to port with ample storage underneath. All seats have new beige colored cushions in Sunbrella. Further aft is the boat deck with double telescopic davit (on center line). To port is a ladder leading down to main deck. The flybridge also has an 8-person Jacuzzi.
ENGINE / GENERATOR ROOM
The aft engine room can be accessed via a ladder from the starboard side deck or from the swim platform. Entering via the swim platform is the generator room with (2) enclosed Northern lights generators located to port and starboard with new sound down exhaust system (2011). Forward to port side is a glass window for engine room monitoring and observation. To starboard is the new electrical control/distribution panel with engine room access to center. The walk-around engine room is air-conditioned and all equipment are easily accessible.

Vaiven is not just your ordinary Broward; this yacht is one-of-a-kind. Patton Marine surveyed during construction. Hull and superstructure are ABS Classed.
Vaiven's spectacular Marc Michael’s interior design is a masterpiece one must experience first-hand to truly appreciate. Twin economical Deutz 616 series provides Vaiven with a cruising speed 15 knots and fuel consumption at 115 gallons/hour, including generator. Vaiven's low profile, clean walk-around decks and many added original features make her an exceptional yacht for even the most discriminating yachtsman. All exterior loose furniture new 2010, new teak decks, complete paint with removal of hardware in 2012. All new antennas in 2012.
The maintenance has been kept to the highest standards. The main engines received a complete overhaul in June 2010. Maintenance is presently ongoing to preserve her impeccable standard. New Sigma-glide silicone bottom paint June 2016.
