Excellent example of the ever popular Beneteau Oceanis 343. This is the highly desirable owners version which was fitted with the "performance" pack from new. This included a slightly taller twin spreader rig and a folding propeller.
Her generous aft and forward cabins, huge heads with shower, well equipped galley and comprehensive inventory will appeal to any who view. She has a rigging certificate, Hyde Marblehead sails, cabin heating and a few decent extras including a full cockpit enclosure and a tender.
Fully valeted and ready to go.
Vessel is powered by an extremely quiet, well maintained and reliable Yanmar 3YM30 inboard diesel engine. This 29hp work horse is situated beneath the companionway steps which swing upwards allowing easy access. Further access is from the rear and the sides allowing for servicing and maintenance requirements. Engine start panel in cockpit with rev counter, visual and audible warnings and key start.
Reduction gearbox driving a stainless steel shaft and upgraded Flexofold 3-bladed folding propeller. The propeller shaft is protected by a GRP skeg on the hull.
Bank of 3x12V batteries providing engine start and domestic power. The batteries are all heavy duty 110 amp and are fitted with isolators. The batteries are recharged via the engine alternator or the onboard smart charger/shore power unit. Shore power cable. Internal sockets. 12/240V switch panel at chart table. Additional 6-function switch panel added for additional equipment.
Well equipped boat in a ready to sail condition. Included in the sail are:
Bermudan sloop rigged yacht with deck stepped spars by Z-Diffusion. Aluminium boom with rigid rod kicker and topping lift. Roller furling headsail system replaced in 2018 with a Facnor system. All lines led aft to cockpit via a series of blocks, deck organisers and spinlock clutches. The running rigging was altered at commissioning stage to allow cockpit control/adjustment of topping lift, vang and outhaul with associated deck organisers and diverters installed. Stainless steel standing rigging which undergoes a full check every five years. Most recent check was carried out by local rigging company in 2018 and is full certified.
The original Elvstrom sails were replaced in 2013 with Hyde marblehead sails. The original Elvstroms are available if desired. The boat is rigged for spinnaker use and there is a medium weight cruising chute with snuffer. 2-speed, self tailing genoa sheet and halyard winches. Winch handle pockets in cockpit.
Below decks is both warm and comfortable. Accessed from the cockpit via a heavy duty perspex sliding hatch and a lockable wooden washboard system. You will be very impressed with the headroom as there is 1.98M at the hatchway and 1.88M at the entrance to the forward cabin. During the day, the interior is light and airy thanks to the numerous hull portlights, deck hatches and the perspex coachroof windows. The woodwork is warm and welcoming and is complemented beautifully by the mid blue upholstery. Come a night time the saloon and cabins are transformed into warm welcoming spaces thanks to the 12V lighting, window blinds and the very efficient diesel fired cabin heating. At time of order, heavy duty laminate teak and holly flooring was specified. These are extremely hard wearing and still look brand new.
Although this is the "Owners" layout, there is accommodation for 7 people. Generous "Owners" aft double cabin with dressing seat, shelved and hanging space units and a fixed port at transom and an opening one into the cockpit. In the bow is a further double V berth with infill cushion, hanging wardrobe to port and shelved storage unit to starboard. This forward cabin has a deck hatch for light and ventilation and a space saving sliding privacy door. A further two berths are in the saloon, to port and starboard of the beautifully made saloon table. The port side settee is curved for comfort but also has the factory fitted berth conversion which simply involves sliding out an additional board and inserting an additional cushion.
Opposite the galley is a large heads compartment. This bright and easy to clean area features a Jabsco marine toilet with holding tank, moulded sink unit with attractive wood trim and a mirrored vanity unit for storing toiletries. The shower is a hot and cold one delivered via a mixer tap and a pull out faucet. There is a very handy teak seat on which to sit. Shower sump pump out. There is a heating outlet into the heads which is ideal for drying foul weather gear. All cabins have both deck head and reading lights.
Well equipped galley with spacious, easy clean work surfaces, stainless steel sink with pressurised hot and cold water and a gas fuelled Eno 2-burner hob with oven. Perishables are catered for in the 130Lt front opening fridge whilst ambient goods, small appliances, utensils and crockery can be stored in the three hull mounted storage cupboards or in the built in shelved larder accessed through the door or from the top below the cutlery holder.
On the opposite side of the heads compartment and at the end of the starboard side settee is the chart table navigation area. Good sized chart storage, chart reading light , 12/240V switch panel, heating and CD controls, additional chart plotter and DSC VHF.
GRP constructed sailing yacht with deep draft fin keel, counter hung spade rudder with binnacle mounted wheel steering. Under water areas have been well maintained by local yard. Most recent antifoul was May 2021 following a winter ashore.
White high gloss topsides with silver hull decals and navy blue water line stripe. Hull to deck join finished in an aluminium toe rail with inbuilt fairleads. Nice wide side decks all ow easy access round the deck. All walkways and coachroof finished in moulded diamond point non slip. Self bailing anchor locker with secured lid. Huge capacity for ground tackle. Quick electric windlass with hand held remote. Extremely well laid out, roomy cockpit with curved teak topped lockers and easy access to the bathing platform via the tilting helmsman seat. This makes boarding from a dinghy or pontoon very easy indeed. Huge sail locker to starboard with additional shelves. Shallower sheet locker to port. Vented and drained gas locker with 2-bottle capacity. Wooden, extending leaved cockpit table mounted to forward end of binnacle, ideal for alfresco dining. Two binnacle covers to suit wheel position. The added bonus of the Beneteau patented swivelling wheel gives easy access through the cockpit when moored or at anchor. The addition of a full cockpit enclosure keeps the cockpit dry and free from the elements. Stainless steel bow and stern rails connected by a series of stanchions port and starboard with double set of guardwires.
