The Beneteau Oceanis 323 is a highly regarded modern cruising yacht, considered by many to be the best all-round combination of comfortable accommodation and performance in its class. Likely to be one of the best in existence, she has an impressive inventory including bow thruster, diesel heating, holding tank, cockpit tent and fitted cushions, chart plotter, autopilot, and more. Early viewing is highly recommended as yachts of this quality are rarely available!

Accommodation
The accommodation offers six berths in two double sleeping cabins plus the saloon, with good standing headroom throughout.
FORECABIN - Fitted with a double V berth (with infill to increase size), stowage, hanging locker, and opening hatch to foredeck.
SALOON - The saloon has settee berths either side of a central dining table (with folding leaves and storage), with good stowage provided by a range of shelves, cupboards, and lockers.
GALLEY - The L-shaped galley aft to port is equipped with a gimballed Eno 2-burner gas cooker with oven, twin stainless steel sinks, fridge (with new cooling plate and regas 2021), and storage.
CHART TABLE - An aft-facing chart table is located to starboard, with working space for Admiralty Folio charts, instrumentation, stowage, and an electrical distribution panel.
HEADS - Located aft to starboard is a very generous heads, with marine toilet (new valves 2018), gravity discharge holding tank (with overboard and deck outlets, new main pipe and connector 2018), separate shower area with seat, washbasin (new combined shower tap 2019), wet hanging area, storage cupboard, shelves, mirror and two opening portlights.
AFT CABIN - Aft to port fitted with a double berth, hanging locker, storage shelves, two opening portlights, and engine access panel.
GENERAL EQUIPMENT - Eberspacher diesel fired heating system with digital 7-day planner control. Hot and cold pressurised water system via calorifier with immersion coil. Light grey striped cotton saloon upholstery, and light blue cotton sleeping cabin upholstery, with matching curtains throughout (all new 2018/19). Fitted sectional carpets (new 2019) over teak and holly sole boards. The downlighters have all been replaced with LED units (new 2018) and a portable cockpit table lamp is included (new 2020). Entertainment is provided by a built-in stereo system with DAB radio, Bluetooth, and CD player (new 2018).
Mechanical Systems
Located abaft the companionway, Volvo Penta MD2020 three cylinder 19hp diesel engine. Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger. Single lever controls with electric start. Shaft drive (new shaft, Volvo-Penta stern gland, and cutlass bearing 2018) to two-bladed propeller (new 2018). Bar anode with shaft brushes (new 2018). Plastic fuel tank with 65 litre capacity. Sleipner Sidepower EX55S bow thruster with wireless remote control and fixed controls at helm (new 2018).
The engine appears to be in excellent condition, has only run for 244hrs since new, and has been part serviced ready for the 2021 season (oil and fuel filters provided which should be changed together with the oil when back afloat). In addition to the new shaft, stern gland, cutlass bearing, anode system, and propeller, the engine seacocks were also replaced in 2018. Some assorted engine spares are also included.
Electrical Systems
3 x 12v Batteries (two domestic new 2020, and separate engine start new 2018) charged by engine alternator. Dedicated bow thruster battery forward (could also easily be used for an electric anchor windlass if required) charged via dedicated Sterling smart battery charger (all new 2018). Shorepower system with ring mains, immersion coil, and smart battery charger. Galvanic isolator (new 2018). Electrical distribution panel and breaker switches. 12v socket at chart table and helm. Full cabin lighting with upgraded LED downlighters (new 2018).
Sails and Spars
Fractionally rigged bermudan sloop. Anodised aluminium mast and boom. Stainless steel standing rigging (new 2018) fitted with anti-bird wires at spreaders. Terylene running rigging (majority new since 2018). Slab reefing mainsail with lazy jacks (new stack pack 2019). Facnor headsail furling system. All lines led aft to cockpit via jammers. 2 x Harken 30 self-tailing sheet winches. 2 x Harken 30 self-tailing halyard winches.

Beneteau Oceanis 323 built by Beneteau to a design by Groupe Finot in 2004 and first launched in July 2004. White GRP hull with style stripes (new 2018), superstructure, and decks with moulded non-slip surfaces. Aluminium toe rail. Cast iron fin keel. Spade rudder. Wheel steering with leather covered wheel (swivel function currently disabled). Aft self-draining cockpit. Teak cockpit seats and transom step.
Additional Comments
'Carrie' has been in her current ownership since 2018 during which time she has benefited from a thorough program of maintenance and upgrading, and is presented to a very high standard. She has clearly been very lightly used, and is only for sale due to a change in her owner's boating plans.
