Ladybird is a shoal winged keel version of the popular Beneteau First 285 performance cruiser. Ladybird herself has never been raced ( she has no spinnaker gear ) and is in lovely condition for a 1990 boat. Interior joinery, cushions and mattresses are all excellent. 18hp Volvo inboard diesel engine with shaft drive and 2 blade propeller. ( Engine overhauled and serviced in 2020.) Hull just antifouled. Replacement Lewmar hatches, tinted portlights and windows have just been fitted making her ready for the season ahead.

Ladybird is in good condition for her age, especially her interior mattresses and woodwork. Only 2 owners from new. Solent sailing only, never raced. Great sailing performance for the size of yacht. Rates well for club races and Round The Island, if you do wish to race. There is an active local Beneteau Owners Association. Ready to sail away.
