For Sale, an excellent 2008 Beneteau Antarès 6 sports cruiser - sports fisher style boat with inboard diesel (Yanmar 110bhp - 325 hours approx.).
This boat is well-equipped, correctly maintained and has a number of extras that make her and exceptional version of this popular model.
Capable of fast cruising, or tootling along inland waterways, she is light and secure when underway, or when planing, and simple to manoeuvre in tight marinas, thanks to her underwater profile assisted by her bow thruster (fitted late 2020 - £2900). On the plane she can make passage at good cruising speeds and with reasonable fuel costs.
Her accommodation makes good use of her length.
Forwards there is a main saloon with two berths and plenty of headroom. There is an oval saloon table for drinks and lunch and behind the banquette seating there is plenty of shelf storage. A flat screen TV is fitted to the bulkhead to make this a cosy place to relax. Navy blue seating, white walls and large mirror give a feeling of space that is well-illuminated with electric lights and a large clear marine hatch through the foredeck.
Adjacent to the main saloon and opposite the galley is a decent sized marine head within its own compartment.
The main saloon also contains a full galley to port comprising a fridge, sink with running freshwater and a one burner stove which stores for sea in a custom flush-level holder.
Aft of the main saloon is the wheelhouse. The Helm's seat is to starboard and provides excellent visibility through 360 degrees from a commanding elevated position. A secure padded seat and footrest is positioned behind a console equipped with full instrumentation. This includes fitted VHF, two GPS chartplotters with depth sensor and a fitted Fusion stereo radio. The bow-thruster is controlled by a remote control which is positioned on the console for easy access.
To port there is a storage area and varnished wooden for use as a worktop to the galley. Beneath lies some open fronted storage. Between the Helm's seat and atop the engine cover there is a small table top.
Should the weather dictate the wheelhouse has sliding glass doors to keep out the elements. To keep the interior warm, the vessel is fitted with Eberspacher blown air heating.
Aft of the wheelhouse this 2008 Beneteau Antarès 6 has a large practical cockpit. This area is roughly square in profile and has a small gate that leads out onto a decent sized bathing platform fitted with a boarding ladder that folds away under a flush cover built into the platform.
The cockpit has a full navy-blue fabric and clear window enclosure (new in late 2020 - £2000) fitted on a stainless-steel frame. This can be configured in many different ways: fully enclosed, side/s open, rear open, off entirely etc. This cockpit area has two bench seats with navy-blue cushions either side, with a small table betwixt. The table has fiddles and a compass motif.
The secure nature of the enclosure, coupled with the warmth of the clear perspex windows keep the cockpit warm even when the weather turns inclement. Along with the Eberspacher heating this is an all-year around space. The cockpit is large enough for several adults to eat, drink and socialise. Built in moulded steps give access to the side and foredecks as required.
Forwards there is a large foredeck, enclosed with stainless steel handrails with a sufficiency of space for some sunbathing and a decent sized anchor locker and bow roller.
On the coach roof are mounted the radio antenna, searchlight and navigations lights. This Beneteau Antarès 6 is multi-faceted and in fine condition.
