Beautifully maintained Bavaria 40 from first owner and only private sailed. the ship has 3 cabins and 2 wet rooms. The Bavaria 40 is a very spacious and practical ship. There are 3 spacious cabins and there is a nice longitudinal kitchen. Because of the furling mainsail and the bow thruster it is easy to sail and maneuver. The ship is lovingly sailed and neatly maintained. In 2001 a beautiful teak deck was laid in the Netherlands which is glued on a plastic base. There is a double set of sails of which 1 set from 2000 has only been used for 1 season, in 2014 a Vetus bow thruster has been placed, in 2016 the underwater hull has been blasted with ice with which all antifouling has been removed but the gelcoat has been retained, after that 5 layers of epoxy CopperCoat have been applied so you have almost no work on the underwater hull, in 2016 the saildrive has been overhauled and a new cuff has been placed. the VAT has been demonstrably paid.
