About this Bavaria Yachts 36
The Bavaria 36 offers class leading accommodation with a particularly spacious forward cabin and very generous storage throughout. Moonlight is the more desirable owner's cabin version with a larger heads offering more comfortable living space. The Bavaria 36 three cabin layout offers up to eight berths with three double berths outside the saloon, and excellent 6'4" max headroom.
FORECABIN: Considered the owner's cabin and fitted with a large double berth, large hanging locker, small seat, eye level lockers, opening hatch to foredeck and en suite access to heads compartment.
HEADS: Separate compartment forward to port with Jabsco marine toilet, shower, washbasin, wet locker and storage. Access from both saloon and forecabin.
SALOON: Consisting of settee berths either side of a large central table with folding leaves and excellent stowage in various lockers and cupboards. Plenty of natural light and ventilation is provided by four large opening side windows and a central hatch.
GALLEY: L-shaped galley to port equipped with a gimballed 2-burner gas cooker with grill and oven, twin stainless steel sinks, refrigerator and generous stowage in various drawers and cupboards.
CHART TABLE: To starboard, with electrical distribution panel, heater controls, radio CD and useful stowage.
AFT CABINS: Separate aft cabins to port and starboard, each fitted with a double berth, opening portlight, hanging locker and storage.
GENERAL EQUIPMENT: Excellent ventilation throughout is provided by numerous opening hatches and portlights. Pressurised hot and cold water system via calorifier with immersion coil. Diesel fired Eberspacher warm air heating system. Blue cloth upholstery with complementing curtains and teak and holly soleboards throughout with blue carpet.
Located beneath companionway, Volvo Penta MD2020 3-cylinder 29hp inboard diesel engine. Freshwater cooled. Single lever controls with electric start. Plastic 150 litre fuel tank. Volvo Penta saildrive with Brunton 3-bladed feathering propeller. The original two bladed propeller is available as a spare.
The engine was last serviced by her knowledgeable owner and appears in extremely good cosmetic condition and has proven reliable under current ownership. Saildrive gaiter last replaced 2011.
3 x 12v Batteries 2 x 120ah domestic and 60ah engine, all new 2017 charged via engine alternator. Shorepower system with ring mains, battery charger, and immersion coil for water heating. Electrical distribution panel with an integrated meter. Full cabin lighting.

Fractional rigged bermudan sloop. Selden aluminum double swept spreader mast and boom. Selden gas kicker. Spinnaker deck gear. Stainless steel standing rigging (new 2017). Terylene running rigging. Bavaria 36 built in 2003 by Bavaria Yachts to a design by J & J Design, achieving RCD Category A. White GRP hull with blue style stripes, superstructure and decks with moulded non-slip surfaces. Standard draft lead fin keel. Wheel steering to spade hung rudder. Teak laid cockpit seats and sole. Self draining cockpit. Hull epoxied in 2003.
