The Banks Martin Dayboat Range

Banks-Martin may be a new name in boatbuilding, but the company’s two directors have a background in iconic British boat brands. Based in Kidderminster, the business is looking to build on the traditions of the past while introducing a higher standard of craft to the inland industry. Tingdene Boat Sales have been appointed the retailing agents from all 10 of their offices.

The Banks Martin 5 Henley and Offshore models and other planned dayboat models fill the gap in the marketplace for high end inland craft built in the UK rather than aboard.

The 5 Henley is the first of its range of inland dayboats aimed at inland cruising in the UK. The 5 Henley joins the recently launched 5 Offshore.

At first glance the boat looks far more refined and modern than many of the surrounding GRP dayboats on the river – most of which are based on designs produced aboard and imported

The Banks Martin 5 is designed in 2 versions – Offshore  or the 5 Henley specifically designed as an inland dayboat for up to 6 in comfort with a dayboat sloop style.
