Great condition with 2 staterooms, 2 heads, AC and Heat with much more! This 1977 Atlantic 44 is a yacht in the traditional style. Heavy, solid and designed to work with the elements, she will be a pleasure to liveaboard, make the Great Loop or take on any adventure you have in mind. Built alongside Hatteras, she is solidly constructed and has been well maintained by a long time, knowledgeable owner. Owner reports that all maintenance is up to date and that systems work as designed. Numerous upgrades have been made over the years to enhance this fine yacht. The topsides have been reconfigured to add more living space to the yacht. The aft deck has been covered with a hardtop and has a full enclosure which can be configured with screens or hard strata glass type material to suit the season. Likewise, the bridge has been enclosed with a hardtop and opening hard transparent curtains to increase comfort. There are wide decks giving good access to a large bow. There is a working davit with an electric winch to raise and lower auxiliary craft as desired. There is also well-proportioned ground tackle consisting of a 72# Rocna anchor and 200' of chain rode. An Ideal windlass is mounted at the bow to handle anchoring duties and there are foot controls here as well. The interior is warm and welcoming. There is the previously mentioned aft deck enclosure as you come aboard with wings to port and starboard. This area has comfortable seating along with a fridge and large flatscreen TV. There is also an electric wood stove to keep it comfortable and add ambiance. There are steps leading to the enclosed bridge. A centerline captains seat gives great access to all controls and vision all around the vessel. The bridge is equipped with a Garmin 182C color plotter, Raytheon radar, autopilot, VHF radio and trim tabs. All systems are reported to be working as designed. Below decks is broken into 3 primary areas. Forward is a large cabin with vee berth. There is a hanging locker to starboard and numerous drawers below. Aft of this is a full enclosed head to port and a large, convertible dinette to starboard. There is significant storage under and outboard of the dinette. On the same lower level is a full galley to port, There is a newer gas stove with oven, a full fridge, sink, microwave and ample counter and cabinet space here to handle all your food prep duties for whatever crew you are cruising with. The step to this level can be lifted giving a second egress to the well-sorted engine room. Moving aft and up, there is a large salon with a fold out couch, additional seating, TV and more storage. In addition to the full Wabasco heating system on the boat, a grate has been added to the sole which can be uncovered to use the warmth of the engine room below to provide heat. All of the windows here and throughout the boat appear to be in good condition and the owner reports that there are no leaks present. The salon also houses a fully operational helm station with electronics and full controls. Aft and down is the full width master cabin. There is a full sized berth, two large hanging lockers and many cabinets and drawers providing ample storage. There is also a second ensuite head with full facilities and a separate shower stall.
