She is quick, stable in a chop and handles like a dream. Her interior is luxurious and inviting, the sundeck has a forward facing bench with full cushion and the pilot house has a factory hard-top. An extended bimini provides protection from the elements while in the cockpit and an extra-large swim platform provides easy access for swimmers and easy boarding when parked at the dock. Her efficient and fully functional anchoring system makes dropping and raising the hook a breeze. She is well designed for comfort both while underway and when in port.
Independence has been lovingly cared for and updated by her current owner. She hired Mark Craven, a highly regarded Master Shipwright, to replace the mahogany sheer planks, mahogany cap rails and the forward and side teak decks. This Apreamare 7.5 is a Semi-Cabinato model, which means she has more room on the forward sundeck for lounging. She also has a forward facing built-in bench seat with full padding.
