This 28 is built on a modified V hull with a wide 10' beam. This gives plenty of room in the cockpit, even with the raised cockpit engine box that doubles as seating with its large full covered pad. Up front a bow pulpit with a manual windlass and anchor lockers, both port and starboard. A full-height bow rail wraps around the bow to make for easy access. Power is supplied to this Albin 28 Tournament by a 2014 Peninsular "The Beast" 300 HP Diesel engine. With a ZF V-Drive Transmission. Bow Thrusters with joystick adds maneuverability. Below deck, this Albin 28 has a surprisingly roomy interior. More like that of a larger boat with a full-service galley with fridge and microwave to port, stand-up head/shower to starboard, mid-cabin berth aft, and a convertible U-shaped dinette forward. There is also a portable suitcase Air Conditioning unit that will keep the entire cabin cool. The cockpit features twin captain's seats that both swivel.
