The Ocqueteau Speed 944 is a superb and spacious family, coastal cruising trimaran with enough performance to suit most sailors - easy to sail single-hand, with the benefit of a large cockpit for the crew or guests. It uses a folding mechanism, similar to the Farrier but much stronger with aluminium mouldings. The floats are narrow with a deep V for up wind sailing and foam filled making her unsinkable. When the floats are in the stowed position the beam is 3.45m, allowing use of a conventional marina berth and winter storage space. Plenty of accommodation down below with four surprisingly spacious berths, heads with sea toilet. Galley and nav station to stern of cabin, all very practical and serviceable.
