Spanish tennis star Rafael Nadal is no newcomer to the yachting world, and has spent many a summer chartering yachts in the Mediterranean. MMA and boxing champion Conor McGregor decided to start his newly announced retirement in style by chartering the sublime 36.8 metre Sunseeker yacht The Devocean and forgetting about the woes of 2020. In June of this year he was spotted aboard the distinctive, dark-hulled yacht which features a suite of dreamy amenities including a hot tub, large bar area and a huge dining space for some socially distanced meals with friends – The Devocean can accommodate up to 10 guests.
Tony Parker Awaits his New and Unnamed Kando 110 Yacht
Another sportsman looking to spend more time at sea is NBA star Tony Parker who is awaiting the arrival of his brand new AvA Yachts, 35 metre Kando 10. While we haven’t seen the yacht in all its glory yet, tantalizing images show a bold design with a bulbous bow, steel and aluminium hull and four decks. Inside and the yacht is said to be light and airy, with a contemporary styling, perfect for entertaining guests with plenty of space. She rang in the New Year in the celebrity hotspot of St Barths, and has hosted high profile politicians and celebrities from Barack Obama to Oprah Winfrey, Jeff Bezos to Katy Perry. In April 2020, David Geffen chose to jet off to the Grenadines to isolate aboard Rising Sun, allowing him to sit out the Covid-19 pandemic in style.
