DESCRIPTION

This is a great example of the X-302. Only two sets of owners from new and obviously well cared for since 2003 when purchased by her vendors. The very high quality build quality, together with excellent performance under sail makes for a timeless design that appeals to both the performance orientated cruising person as well as a club racer. This one will not stay on the market long - book your viewing as soon as possible, you won't be disappointed.

Accommodation

The accommodation offer six berths with two double cabins and the saloon settee berths. V berth forward with easy access stowage under, hanging locker. In the saloon there are two settee berths with a drop leaf table between. Forward facing chart table to starboard. L shaped galley to port - two burner gas cooker with oven. Coolbox. Stainless steel sink. 120 litre fresh water capacity supplying galley and heads. Separate heads compartment to starboard with marine toilet, wash basin and shower. Aft cabin with a large double berth.

Mechanical Systems

Located under companionway steps. 2001, Yanmar 2GMF20, twin cylinder, 18hp marine diesel engine. Fresh water cooling via heat exchanger. Saildrive to folding two bladed propeller. Single lever engine controls. 50 litre stainless steel fuel tank which gives a range of some 200 nm at a cruising speed of some 6 knots.

Three 12V batteries in two banks charging via engine alternator and 240V battery charger. Mobitronic charge controller. 240V shore power system.

Spars & Sails

Fractional bermudan sloop rig. Silver anodised aluminium mast and boom by Sparcraft, 2001. Stainless steel standing rigging (2012). Dyneema and terylene running rigging all led aft to the cockpit (2011). Slab reefing to mainsail (3 reefs). Facnor headsail furling system with below deck drum. Two Lewmar 30 self tailing primary winches. Two Lewmar 16 coachroof winches. Spinnaker pole. All spinnaker running rigging. Frederiksen ball bearing coarse/fine tune mainsheet system on cockpit track. Adjustable backstay. Kicker.

Construction

Built in 2001 by X-Yachts, Denmark to a design by Niels Jeppersen. White grp hull with blue style stripes. White grp superstructure with moulded light grey non skid side decks. Fin keel with encapsulated cast iron and lead ballast. Spade rudder with low friction bearings. Tiller steering. Self draining cockpit and anchor well. Hull epoxied in the factory from new. The rigging and keel loads are supported by an internal galvanised steel frame.
