"Thumbelina"

A nicely presented all steel Senator 40 fitted with twin Ford 125hp diesel engines on shafts. 

Commissioned in 2001 and fitted out by her current owner as a comfortable family cruiser.

Consisting of 6 berths in 3 separate cabins and 2 heads.  

Saloon

Spacious saloon area with large tinted windows giving good light but with added privacy. 

A sofa bed to Starboard pulls out to make up an occasional double berth.

In the center of the cabin is a list up hatch giving good access to the Ford diesel engines, there is also ample space for additional storage when cruising.

The entire boat is finished in a beech wood with hardwood trims. the ceiling is solid wood tongue and groove.  

Galley

The galley is located to Port and comprises of a white melamine worktop with sink/drainer, to the end of the galley is an oven grill with combined 4 burner hob.

To port is a single seat along with an added sideboard and under counter fridge & freezer.   

Forward cabin

Her forward cabin offers sleeping accommodation for 1 in a single bed. Beneath is a good amount of storage space.

There is also good light with 3 windows looking onto the bow deck.   

Heads

"Thumbelina" offers 2 heads compartments. one just the galley area with a single toilet and hand wash basin, the other is located off the aft cabin that also has a full height shower, wash basin and toilet. 

Aft cabin

The aft cabin features a double bed to Port with Walnut finished chest of drawers and 2 matching wardrobes for additional hanging space.  

Deck area/helm

Thumbelina's deck and helm area is an excellent place for entertaining. She also benefits from a full canopy giving all weather protection. 

The helm itself is located centrally of the deck and gives good viability. full engine instrumentation is laid out just in front of the wheel along with VHF and Echo sounder.

The throttle controls are easily to hand.
