A 1959, 29ft Wooden motor cruiser built by Hampers of Fareham and designed by Knowler, Blue Gem is built of teak on rock elm carvel construction, with a teak superstructure, all in excellent condition. She has a Perkins M65 65hp diesel engine on shaft drive, serviced in Feb 2018. With four berths in two cabins, she provides a truly unique way to explore coastal and inland waters. She is a good sea going boat and has made trips across the Channel in the past. For lazy cruising days the aft cabin becomes a cockpit with a removable awning/roof – what a great feature and how apt should the boat come inland for river cruising.
