Recent Works

All work listed below have either been conducted by the resident boat captain or local specialist companies in the last few years

  • Full respray of hull in addition to this the hull below the water-line has had a full sand blast followed by three coats of international primer and two coats of anti-fouling paint.
  • Replacement rear cover.
  • Repair radar post and fit New Garmin radar plotter and new NASA speed log and sounder.
  • Strengthened rear gantry fixings and surrounding fiberglass.
  • Replaced all teak deck and platforms and reconditioned cockpit floor.
  • Carry out 450hr major service. Remove all rust and corrosion in engine room, repaint and treat with corrosion guard spray.
  • Installed automatic fire extinguishers in engine room.
  • Life raft supplied and all security equipment brought up to date and specification.
  • Change P bracket bearings
  • Fit T-piece with wander pipe to bilge pump system to enable completely dry bilges.
  • Replace air conditioning control head.
  • Fit strainer for WC product on sea water intake.
  • Reseal main door seals.
  • Remove and reseal two cabin roof hatches
  • Fit SSR number on hull
  • Rebuild anchor winch, fit new roller on anchor davit and attach chain correctly to secure point.
  • Fit new horn
  • Replace passerelle control switches and fit guard and fit battery cut off switch.
  • Change waste gate valve (STB)
  • Change seawater impellers and gaskets

  •  Replace all navigation lights bulbs
  • Remove any rust and corrosion in engine room and retreat with corrosion guard spray.
  • Test all seacocks, strip and clean all seawater intake strainers
  • Check and adjust stern-glands
  • Grease rubber stocks and linkages
  • Degrease and clean bilge
  • Clean and lubricate all battery terminals
  • Volt drop test batteries
  • Polish topside with 3m free cut and coat with Starbright Teflon polish.
