The Jaguar 27 is a popular family cruising yacht benefiting from good sailing characteristics, a practical and spacious layout, and solid build quality. 'Ubin' is a fin keel MKII Deluxe, with the preferred galley aft layout and improved cabinetry, and she is also a desirable shaftdrive version for simpler, cheaper maintenance. She has been well maintained by her experienced retired engineer owner, is only for sale due to him retiring from sailing, and comes with a good inventory so would make an ideal first cruising yacht!

Located under companionway, Volvo Penta MD7A 13hp 2-cylinder diesel engine. Seawater cooled. Single lever Morse type controls with electric start. Shaftdrive to fixed 2-bladed propeller.
The engine has been well cared for by her experienced, retired engineer owner, and appears to be in very good running order. During his ownership the exhaust elbow has been changed to a better quality custom fabricated version, and the exhaust system itself has also been replaced, and a Halyard Marine exhaust temperature alarm installed.

Construction
Jaguar 27 MKII built by Jaguar Yachts in 1975 to a deluxe specification which included extra cabinetry and teak finishes. White GRP hull (professionally treated for osmosis and epoxy coated in 2007), superstructure, and decks with non-slip surfaces. Cast iron fin keel. Tiller steering to spade rudder. Self-draining cockpit.
Ubin has clearly benefited from regular maintenance and careful use, and although as with most yachts of her age there are areas that could be updated or improved, in our opinion she is a very good example of her kind and should be viewed to be appreciated.
