DESCRIPTION

Remarks :
Brokers Remarks:
Najad is one of the leading luxury blue water cruising manufacturers, their extensive range of models throughout the years need no introduction; they very much speak for themselves. The quality of build, design and seakeeping qualities that are delivered is exemplary.
The Najad 391 superseded the 390 and was a popular model & still is a very desirable yacht; she performs well in all conditions and exceptionally well in a seaway.
This Najad 391 is in her third ownership after the first two owners had her for very short spells, she was very lightly used by both of those owners. The current owners purchased her back in 2007 and have enjoyed cruising her since!
The current owners have maintained and upgraded this yacht with no expense spared, there have been numerous upgrades, and a very thorough annual maintenance schedule followed.
The specification is vast; this example has all the equipment necessary to make cruising as comfortable as possible. She boasts twin electric primary winches, in-mast reefing, bimini, full cockpit enclosure, electric windlass, heavy duty 25kg Rocnor anchor, generator, wind generator, holding tank, heating, large refrigerator, excellent size berths, dual showers and a powerful engine, the list is extensive.
If you are searching for a fine cruising yacht with a specification to back this up, then you should look to book a viewing of this fantastic yacht.
There is a transferable marina berth that could become available subject to the marina's terms and conditions. When berths are difficult to secure, this is an attractive offer for a new owner.

Owners Remarks:

When we bought Quarante, we were very lucky because the two previous owners had only used the yacht very lightly, mainly coastal sailing. Having owned Quarante since 2007, we have found her not to be wanting wherever we have sailed her.
We sailed mainly in UK coastal waters and Ireland for the first couple of years. We then sailed to Portugal, stopping at many ports in France and Spain along the way. After spending time exploring the many beautiful ports and anchorages on the Algarve, we sailed to the Canary Islands, basing ourselves in Lanzarote. We visited all but one of the islands. After a couple of years, we headed off to the Azores, spending the summer there before returning to Portugal and then back to the Canary Islands.

During our travels, the yacht performed well and did not cause us any worries; even when we encountered varied conditions with differing winds and seas, she performed superbly and was never disappointed or felt vulnerable. We have always looked after her maintenance-wise, in 2016 we added diesel and wind generators which were an excellent addition that we wished we had installed much earlier during our ownership.
We have never had an issue at sea with engine or sails, we purchased a new genoa in 2021 as well as a mainsail in 2016.
Sadly, with the pandemic, we were not able to sail the yacht, and it was not used during this period, so we had it delivered back to the Uk by a delivery company. With a heavy heart, we now must sell for personal reasons.
