DESCRIPTION

Layout

 EXTERIOR

Carole Michelle, a Fairline 36 Turbo features all the benefits that added to this model being one of the most popular and bestselling aft cabin cruisers of her time and that still today add up to it being an ever popular model. The exterior from the stern features a fully moulded bathing platform fitted with a stern ladder which drops into the water and goes up to the rear deck. The rear deck is surrounded by a solid dodger set into stainless steel rails. Four locker boxes with storage are set to the rear and on top of these a complete set of cushions with back rests give a superb lounging area. Steps lead up to the fly bridge which has a L shape sunbed seat to port with the helm offset to starboard from centre and a single bucket seat. Aft of the fly bridge a folding goalpost GRP arch takes all navigation antenna’s. The fly bridge on Carol Michelle has two covers either a flat tonneau for storage or a ¾ height “bubble” canopy giving superb all-weather protection. Back again on the aft deck to port and Starboard the side decks lead forward being surrounded with sturdy stainless steel stanchions and fitted with a middle wire. These surround the entire deck area to the bow. Further handrails are fitted to the cabin tops and the forward deck is predominately flat making a safe working deck forward with a large area for lounging upon over the fore cabin. To the bow the anchor in a bow roller with a raised pulpit section so very safe when anchoring.

INTERIOR FROM THE BOW

FORWARD CABIN

Forward cabin with two v berths with an infill to become a double, four port lights and an overhead hatch give good light. Storage is within side shelves over the berths, cave lockers beneath the berths and vanity units to both port and starboard with ¾ height wardrobes, a smaller cupboard at low level and mirrors to both sides. Door to Galley area

FORWARD HEADS/SHOWER

Featuring a separate shower room from the washbasin. The toilet being sited within the shower room. All of moulded design with a port light and overhead lights. Storage under the basin which all again of moulded finish

GALLEY

The galley of the Turbo 36 is a spacious area allowing for plenty of family living and entertaining aboard. It is of “L” shape design and fitted with storage above and below the worktops which are of a laminate finish. Two deep bowel sinks with covers a 3 burner hob, gas oven with separate grill, fridge with freezer compartment. Overhead is a ventilator and a opening port light. Black waste tank fitted below floor hatch

SALOON

Accessed by 4 steps from the galley and being approximately 8 ‘ by 10’ in dimensions with sofas to both the port and starboard, the port sofa being of L shape and recently recovered in cream leather and having an extendable table located in front of it. The Starboard sofa folds out to become the occasional 5th and 6th berths. Ahead of this to starboard the main command location with a double helm seat recently recovered in leather and all the main engine controls and instrumentation. Three hatches to the floor give access to the engines, the forward hatch also giving superb access to the weed filters, generator, calorifier and batteries. The salon receives superb natural light from the surrounding windows which open to port and starboard and the forward screens being covered by a screen cover giving both privacy and UV protection. Five steps lead up to the aft deck which is accessed by a sliding door. A further five steps lead down to the aft cabin these being fitted with a viewing window.

AFT CABIN

The master stateroom of the boat with an island French bed amidships on the rear bulkhead with two small seats either side, sideboard storage to port and starboard and a wardrobe to port. Further storage facilities are located o the forward bulkhead, this area also makes into a vanity unit or desk area. Fitted with a domestic mattress for added comfort. An ensuite toilet and shower room is located to the forward starboard area, this being fitted with shower. Overhead hatch to the rear deck and side windows with opening sections to port and starboard.

ENGINE ROOM

Accessed by large hatches from the main saloon with a central bilge which is very clean and dry . A further hatch forward gives access to the generator to starboard, calorifier to port and batteries amidships.
