The Broom 9/70 was designed to give the maximum possible space in 32 feet whilst still providing a safe sea boat with the traditional good handling qualities of Broom craft.
A generous saloon provides comfortable space for living, dining & entertaining. The aft cabin has a double bunk against one side & incorporates an en-suite shower & toilet. The forward cabin was fitted with V-berths. Adjacent to the galley, a forward toilet served for day use & for guests. The design incorporates twin helm positions.
Eberspächer warm air heating system facilitates enjoyable time afloat throughout the seasons.

The Broom 9/70 features wide side decks surrounded by twin bar stainless steel guardrails with access point amidships and to the stern.
The forward deck to amidships is step free with hand rails to the cabin roof
An anchor carrier is fitted to the forward deck
A step to port and starboard lead to the aft deck which features the helm to port and a seating area with storage lockers below to starboard.
The Rear deck is covered by a folding canopy and windscreen which can also be folded for low bridges
A transom boarding ladder and twin bathing platforms are fitted with the ladder featuring an extendable section into the water
Davits for a lightweight dinghy are fitted to the stern and a large gas locker with storage for up to 2 15KG bottles.
FORWARD CABIN
Featuring 2 V beds and ¾ wardrobe to port & starboard, storage beneath the beds, Lined ceiling with escape hatch and hopper type opening windows to port and starboard with feature window forward.
FORWARD HEADS
Situated opposite the galley to port. Finished in a moulding, easily maintained, incorporating a washbasin, electric flush toilet, shower with tray, storage and opening window
GALLEY
Located to the starboard side and open plan to the main saloon. Of U shape design with melamine worktops and veneer fronted storage cupboards both above and below the work tops. Fitted with twin bowl sink, oven, hob and fridge. A feature of the 9/70 galley is the amount of natural light from being located below the main saloon windows.
SALOON
The saloon of the 9/70 will sit 8 in comfort with a convertible sofa to starboard.
To port are 2 removable seats, both with storage below and ahead of these a 3-drawer unit which can have a helm seat placed on top (currently removed). The 2 seats can combine with the sofa to starboard to form a double berth.
The interior helm featuring master controls and steering is located to port.
Aft of the seating area to port are a drinks & glasses cupboard plus a 3/4 wardrobe cupboard to starboard.
Steps both lead up to the rear deck and down to the rear cabin. Behind the steps to the rear deck is stored a gate leg table which when in use can seat six around with comfort.
The saloon is washed by natural light with large opening side windows and a double butterfly hatch overhead. This can be removed should an engine ever require lifting as the engines are located beneath the saloon floor with all furniture and flooring removable giving great engineering access.
AFT OR MID CABIN
The Broom 9/70s aft cabin is fitted with a side double berth, vanity unit with drawers and ¾ large wardrobe.
The aft cabin features an ensuite wet room with toilet, shower and washbasin
Windows are set to both sides and the stern and a solid opening escape hatch to the rear deck.
