A Note From The Owner

Devon’s Whisper is a custom finished boat completed in 1977 by her first owner. The quality of workmanship and well thought-out interior layout is a tribute to the builder who sailed her extensively (including two trips through the Panama Canal). She was Christened Aralia and later renamed Devon’s Whisper by one of the 5 prior owners. I purchased her in 2008 and had her in the yard for 19 months where she was extensively refitted and restored. Since that time she has been sailed in Galveston Bay and the ICW. Regular maintenance and many upgrades have been done since and now she is a seaworthy blue water cruiser ready to sail the world. Unfortunately, due to my age and health, this opportunity now falls to her next owner.
