The new Outbound 52 Voyager offers sailors a true raised dinette with panoramic views, galley up, VIP stateroom, centerline forward owners stateroom, and a large but offshore safe aft cockpit. Also included is the workshop that has become so popular on our 46 over the past 20 years. Experienced sailors know the added safety that comes with good sailing performance. The ability to sail off a lee shore, to fetch a safe harbour that is dead upwind, or to shorten a passage to within the available weather window are key safety factors that should not be overlooked when selecting your next yacht. Comfort With deliveries, living aboard, and racing in our background, our first goal is to develop a well behaved and easily driven yacht … not just for speed but for the safety that comes with performance and control. Our second goal is to create as much comfort as possible … not just for living aboard, but to reduce fatigue on offshore passages and ensure a well rested crew. Fighting Fatigue The solid fiberglass construction and elegant hand crafted interior of an Outbound offers the displacement required to give the yacht an easy and forgiving motion but its lines and parameters define performance … long waterline, moderate beam, high righting moment, proper weight distribution, and efficient foils. At Outbound Yachts we tackle safety from a performance and ergonomic point of view … yachts that can get out of their own way, not to mention adverse weather, and that fight fatigue with simple systems and excellent ergonomics are simply safer for the cruising couple. Add construction with the finest materials and a beautiful hand-crafted interior, and you’ll have a fun, safe, and comfortable yacht that will be the envy of any anchorage. System Simplicity Adding to our fatigue fighting philosophy, great emphasis is placed on system simplicity and access. A work bench ensures that the generous galley counters are reserved for cooking.
