1998 Victoria 34 with Yanmar 3 GM (F) 28hp engine. WOW!! Verity is a simply stunning example of this Chuck Paine designed model. Known for her traditional styling on a modern efficient underbody she has been built for comfortable long distance cruising and her bow thruster enables easy close quarter manoeuvring. Verity has sailed to the Mediterranean via Paris, where her shallow draft made negotiating the French inland waterways a breeze, she has also cruised the waters of the Balearics, Corsica and Spain. . Her current owners have maintained her meticulously and we guarantee that viewing her will bring you great pleasure!!

Owners Comments:
We have owned Verity from new and equipped her for comfortable cruising. Her shallo draft enabled us to cruise through the French inland waterways via Paris to the Med and then we sailed to the south of France, the Balearics, Corsica, Sardinia and Northern Spain for a number of years from our base in Mallorca. In local waters we have cruised the West Country, Channel Islands, Brittany and northern France. During our cruising we have found Verity to be a safe and seaworthy boat and it has always been our policy to maintain her in good condition.
Safety:
The boat has a deep well sheltered cockpit with 2 harness anchor points, wide side decks with grab rails and stainless jackstays along the deck. Halliards and sheets are led aft to the cockpit along with the mainsail reefing lines. For safety the mainsail traveller is mounted on the coach roof clear of the cockpit with the control lines led aft into the cockpit.
Galley:
The Galley is well equipped with a 4 burner stove with oven/grill, double sink and fridge with Ice compartment. The galley is good to use at sea as it is adjacent to the companionway for fresh air and communication with the helm and has good handholds. There is plenty of stowage as there is throughout the boat with drawers and lockers as well as adequate worktops.
Chart Table and Navigation Equipment:
The chart table takes a folded Admiralty chart and has chart stowage beneath a hinged lid. It uses the head of the quarter berth as a seat and this is covered in waterproof fabric. The radar mount is hinged so that the screen can be seen from the top of the companionway whilst the chart plotter is mounted on the cockpit bulkhead within easy reach of the helm.
The wind, speed and depth instruments are mounted above the companionway to be in sight of the helm. The VHF, AIS, Navtex and GPS are all above the chart table.
