DESCRIPTION

A stunning looking X-Yacht, this X-442 is only with her second owner, both have been fastidious. Her sleek lines and racing heritage make for a nice fast cruising boat. Easy to handle, especially with the Furler Boom system and yet comfortable enough for six or more to cruise thanks to the generous cabins and two heads and showers. Very Solid build as you would expect of this generation of yachts and none more so than X-Yachts with their integrated Galvanised chassis linking the keel to the rig. Her recent updates with her current owner have bought some nice new options including stunning painting of the original blue style lines. She turns heads everywhere. Reading lights and two deck hatches and normal port lights give plenty of light and ventilation when required. A well designed dressing table had a mirror integrated and give useful storage for small items. More storage can be found below the seating. The heads are en-suit. Owner heads: Manual heads with cover, teak grating and drain for shower pump out. Large mirrored storage locker. Opening hatch and port light. Saloon: Large U shaped seating to port with central table. Table has an internal bottle storage. Table can have its legs removed and lowered to make another double bed. Seating for two on a central island also gives welcome support when in the galley. Hand holds run all along the windows on either side and the saloon in general never gives you a feeling that you cannot hold on or be thrown any distance. Storage lockers to Port behind seating are designed for glasses and bottles. Various options of saloon lighting all with LED bulbs and reading lights. Galley: To Starboard has two large and deep sinks, new mixer tap and salt water tap. Top loading large fridge with ice tray. plenty of storage for pots and pans plus dedicated storage for plates, mugs etc. Navigation table: easily accessed from the companionway with plenty of space and storage in the chart table and of to Starboard. Handy locker below the seat. Twin Aft Cabins: Almost identical, wardrobes with hanging space and shelves, reading lights, opening port lights and plenty of storage outboard of the beds and below beds and on top of joinery thanks to deep fiddles.
