The Norwegian build Viknes 1030 has a tough look with rubber bumper around and solid stainless steel sea rail. It is a boat for the long travels, but also for short trips it lends itself well. She was finished with great finesse and there are many smart solutions for enjoyable use and comfort. The viknes 1030 maneuvers very good partly thanks to the bow thruster and the trolling valve for sailing slowly into the harbor. Once up to speed the integrated electric fold trimflaps stabalize boat. There is an extensively equiped indoor helm, and also cockpit helm. The cockpit floor is covered with teak of which the engine hatch hinges are made flush. There is a tuna-door to the extended swim platform.

The sliding door leads from the cockpit to the saloon. To the right is the kitchen complete with oven and cooling. Right further forward is the helm from where the skipper has complete overview and control over the boat. To the left is the sitting area with beautifully lacquered table. In the bow is the bathroom with electric toilet and shower the owners cabin with spacious double bed. Under the salon is the double guest cabin which is reached by stairs at the back of the salon.
