This Seamaster 28 offers a rare opportunity to purchase a model with an inboard Vetus 65hp shaft drive diesel having run approximately 250 hours.

Lazee Daze is fitted out to a comprehensive standard specification including battery charger with inverter, bow thruster, hot air cabin heating, teak flooring to the cockpit.

The design of the Seamaster 28 offers accommodation for 6 in 3 sleeping areas. A spacious galley set to port offset from the main corridor, a large toilet and shower room to starboard and excellent sized cockpit with seating for 6 in comfort and a double helm seat to port

The Seamaster 28 was marketed by Viking between 2007 and 2015. In 2016 the Seamaster 28 will be rebranded and launched at the London Boat Show as the Viking 295 featuring an outboard or inboard power unit with full easy boarding stern access. This gives the benefit of a full width bathing platform and opening to the cockpit retaining the full aft “U” shaped seating. Lazee Daze was the prototype for this development and will be displayed at The London Boat Show from January 8th -18th 2016 on stand B140

The Seamaster 28 offers accommodation for six in great comfort overnight or up to 8 for day trips. The craft is laid out with one large cabin with a convertible double forward, a large dinette amidships and a fixed double berth below the cockpit. 

The galley is fitted away to the portside aft of the dinette so access can easily be gained throughout the cabin when the galley is in use. 

A spacious toilet and shower room is located on the starboard side of the cabin as you enter with a fixed vanity unit, toilet and shower fitted.

To the exterior the cockpit will seat 8 with ease on a U shape seat aft and a double helm. The craft features wide side decks leading forward . The cabin roof makes to a large sunbathing area for those lazy sunny days afloat.

The Seamaster 28 is fitted as standard with a 40hp outboard motor with a hydraulic drive inboard shaft diesel engine available at an option adding £14,200.00 to the standard price.

Layout

CABIN

The interior of the Viking Seamaster 28 offers accommodation for six with a minimum headroom of over 6'. To the sides there are two windows and to the bow 3, the central one opens as an escape hatch

The cabin is laid out in a airy open plan design with a large circular seating area forward this converts to a double berth using an infill, aft to port a comfortable  u shaped sofa with centrally located  which lowers to make this become a good sized double berth with ample storage below all the seating. Opposite, to starboard, a side board with 2 lower cupboards and drawers with a good sized worktop area above for a television, a further double fronted cupboard is situated behind this. Aft, to starboard a well sized toilet and shower room with sink, shower and cassette toilet. opposite the galley is fitted  and finished in a L shape design, the work top being fitted with a stainless steel sink and drainer and gas hob unit with stainless steel splash back. Below this a oven with grill and adjacent a storage cupboard. The fridge is located in the end of the galley unit. Aft of the galley is access to the mid cabin which features a double berth of approximate 4'06'' x 7' with a port light to the exterior and escape hatch to the cockpit. This layout makes Lazee Daze a superb craft for family overnighting or longer time aboard.

COCKPIT

The cockpit features the double helm seat  fitted with a reversible backrest to port with steering, single lever engine controls and ancillary switches. Further seating area aft in a U shape design giving space for a six in comfort. The central rear section removes to give easy access to the bathing platform and then ashore. The cockpit floor is covered in simulated teak and a centrally located circular table is situated for drinks. Below the seating the batteries and charger are located on the starboard side, storage is to port. Below the centrally located hatch the engine is transversely mounted with a hydraulic drive pump powering a tailshaft below the aft berth with propulsion by direct shaft.

EXTERIOR

The Viking Seamaster 28 is fully hand moulded featuring a gel coat exterior strengthened by chopped strand matt. All exterior fittings are in stainless steel and the boat has side decks of approximately 10" in width, sturdy handrails are located on the cabin top and the bow is surrounded by a stainless steel pulpit. The cockpit screens are four section fixed which are foldable for navigation beneath the lowest of bridges. The cabin side windows are of a one piece section giving the maximum amount of light into the cabin. The boat is fitted with a fully folding Black acrylic canvas canopy and access is made easy by the full width bathing platform and through transom access space.

ENGINE ROOM

Lazee Daze is fitted with a Vetus 65hp 4 cylinder diesel engine. This is transverse mounted allowing space usually taken by the engine to be an aft cabin amidships. The engine is fitted with a Hydraulic drive shaft and connect to the main propeller shaft by a hydraulic tail shaft. The engine can be accessed from the cockpit and mid cabin for maintenance.
