Price Reduced $61,000! $40,000 in 2019 REFIT!

Off Shore Blue Water Ready! The NEWLY PURCHASED IN JULY 2019 BUT BUYER MEDICALLY CAN'T GO... SO YOU GET A NEWLY RENOVATED Ready to Cruise - Tayana 55 is one of the renowned cruising sailboats designed by Dutch naval architect Pieter Beeldsnijder and is considered among serious cruisers to be one of the few larger hallmark cruising yachts ever built. The vessel is elegant yet functional and she sails like a dream!

SERENITY has been significantly upgraded in the last several years. This particular Tayana 55 offers forward and aft staterooms as well as a third guest cabin with two single over/under bunks. Her interior is beautifully finished teak with a satin lustre and she has luxurious custom upholstery throughout. The whole accommodations are cooled (and heated) via three reverse-cycle air conditioners refit in 2016. Fachtmann Yachtmann

Manufacturer Provided Description
For its size, the Tayana 55 is perhaps the most successful yacht in the world, with over 80 boats built to date. The Tayana 55 provides the space and sailing performance of most yachts over 65 feet. The Tayana 55 even features a walk-in engine room. The spacious galley and storage capacity equates to long-term cruising in style. Last years Round the World Cruising Rally was won by a Tayana 55. The 1995 Caribbean 1500 was won by a Tayana 55 as well. Deck space that seems endless and a functional, low silhouette give the Tayana 55 its distinctive look. CONSTRUCTION Solid fiberglass hull, hand laminated according to Lloyds specifications. A matrix of longitudinal and transverse foam-cored stringers in the lower hull providing maximum hull stiffness. Internal cast iron ballast glassed into a modified fin keel with choice of drafts. Skeg-mounted rudder, with internal stainless steel rudder post and integral stainless steel reinforcement. The deck is a composite construction using closed cell foam and end-grain light wood sandwich coring. All deck hardware areas are reinforced using encapsulated marine grade plywood. Deck hardware is through-bolted using stainless steel backing plates.
