The 'Aquajoy' is a spacious and well built polyester sailing yacht with good sailing characteristics. The foredeck, aft deck and relatively wide gangways are equipped with a non-slip profile and are easy to walk on. Various opening hatches, portholes and fixed cabin windows provide light. Sufficient fittings have been installed on deck at strategic locations. There is a chain box in the front. The cockpit has two benches, a bridge deck and a transverse helmsman's bench. In the back of the cockpit there is a steering position. The cockpit is equipped with a spray hood over part of the cabin deck and over the cabin entrance. A suitable cockpit tent can be attached to the spray hood.

At the front of the vessel there is a spacious lockable front cabin with a double berth and storage space on both sides. Behind the front cabin is a lockable wet room with manual toilet, sink and storage space. Through the wet cell, a cabin has been realized across the full breadth of the ship, with an L-shaped seating area on the port side and a longitudinal bench on the starboard side. Between the benches is centrally located in the cabin a cabin table with foldable tabletop parts. On the port side behind the cabin table is an L-shaped galley available with double sink, cooker, cooler and storage space. Opposite the galley there is a navigation corner on the starboard side. Behind the galley is on the starboard side of the engine compartment a rear cabin realized. The rear cabin is equipped with a double berth and various storage options. A second wet cell is available on the starboard side next to the aft cabin. In this wet cell is a sink and storage space. This room could also be used as a shower room. Between the aft cabin and the wet room is the engine room that is accessible from the cabin. Through the engine box and a staircase one enters the cockpit. On the starboard side of the cockpit there is a large deep coffin/storage room accessible. This storage space is also accessible from the rear wet room.
