DESCRIPTION

The Princess 388 is a stylish, flybridge cruiser with excellent accommodation and sea keeping from this highly regarded yard. Developed as a replacement for the Princess 45 and 415, the 388 has a more modern hull design offering improved performance and economy. Revolution is presented in excellent condition with an exceptional inventory with many expensive but highly beneficial upgrades including full Raymarine nav installation, bow and stern thrusters, new canvas pack, concealed LCD TV and much, much more! Viewing by appointment only through our Essex office on  AccommodationThe accommodation offers up to 7 berths in 3 cabins with excellent head room throughout.  FORWARD CABIN: Fitted with an island double berth, dressing table, wardrobe, lockers and drawers providing ample storage. Opening hatch to foredeck and access to en suite. EN SUITE: Separate en suite heads compartment to starboard with electric flush toilet (new 2017), SeaSmart toilet sanitiser (new 2018), shower, wash basin, storage and opening portlight.  GUEST CABIN: Located to starboard and fitted with twin single berths (with sprung mattresses, an insert to form a double could also easily be created if required), wardrobe, lockers, reading lights and two opening portlights. HEADS: Separated heads compartment with electric flush toilet (new 2016), shower in separated area, wash basin, storage and opening portlight. GALLEY: Re-fitted galley consisting of large work surfaces, microwave (new 2017), hob, fridge, twin stainless steel sink with draining board, opening portlight and ample storage. Cutlery, crockery and assorted cookware included. SALOON: Settee seating areas to port and starboard that convert to double berths, adjustable height table, cocktail cabinet, concealed pop-up Samsung LCD TV (new 2018), stereo system and drinks fridge. Inner helm with full instrumentation and seating for two with excellent all round visibility. Steps down to galley and cabins with dual sliding doors aft to cockpit. GENERAL EQUIPMENT: Revolution has been upgraded with modern linings, fittings, lighting and colour schemes in many areas (new 2012 onwards), all carried out to such a high standard that it blends very well with her original quality Princess fit out. As a result she feels significantly younger than her years when compared to sisterships. Hot and cold pressurised water throughout via a calorifier with immersion coil (new calorifier and water pump system 2016). Eberspacher diesel fired warm air heating system. EXTERIOR: The aft cockpit has a teak effect sole (new 2016), custom aft enclosure with integrated bimini (new 2016) and offers comfortable seating on a large aft bench seat (new upholstery 2016) with storage beneath complimenting the very large lazarette. Safe, wide side decks accessed from either side lead forward with ample grab rails to the large foredeck with room for sunbathing pads if required. A ladder staircase leads up to the flybridge with second helm position and aft seating area (all upholstery new 2017) providing more useful external seating ideal for entertaining. In addition to the aft cockpit enclosure, the flybridge has individual covers, a tonneau cover and bimini.  Mechanical SystemsLocated under wheelhouse sole, twin Volvo TAMD61A turbocharged and intercooled 306hp marine diesel engines. Dual single lever controls at both helms. Shaft drive via gearboxes to 4-bladed propellers (professionally refurbished and balanced 2018). Full engine instrumentation include temperature, oil pressure, volt, revs and fuel gauges. Sleipner Sidepower bow and stern thrusters (stern new 2017) with remote control and fixed controls at flybridge helm. The engines appear to be in excellent cosmetic condition, had a full service in Spring 2018 ready for the season and have been lightly used since. In 2017 the injectors were also professionally refurbished and current engine hours are approximately 1400 in October 2018 equating to an ideal 70-80hrs a season usage.  Electrical Systems4 x 12v batteries charged via engine alternator.
