About this Island RIBs 7.5
2015 Island RIB's 7.5m inboard RIB.
This boat was first launched in July 2015, and has been professionally maintained from new. As such it is found in immaculate condition.
Island Rib's are very well known for building top quality boats and they have proven very popular.
This particular Island RIBs 7.5m RIB is powered by a Cummins Mercruiser QSD 170hp inboard diesel with a bravo1 leg and stainless steel prop. She happily cruises between 20-30 knots and has a maximum speed of approximately 35 knots. Two Coastal Pro seats allow for a very comfortable ride.

Console And Seating
The Console is a Scorpion Ribs console, which hosts the following items:
Northstar plotter linked to engine.
Fusion radio stereo with bluetooth connectivity.
Mercury Smart craft Merc monitor display.
Grey steering wheel and engine controls including push button start, kill cord and key ignition start.
Trim and tilt for the drive leg.
There is a small glove box housing the switches for the Nav lights.
There is a Carbon fibre nav pole which hosts LED bi colour nav light, GPS and VHF antennas and full height wind screen.
There is a fwd seat with cushion on the console which lifts to allow a large access door into the console for plenty of storage.
The two Coastal Pro Seats have storage under them which is dry.
Rear bench seat is held into blind fittings in the deck x 4 and has seat and backrest cushions.
There is a deck recess for a pump under the bench seat. the pump has a float switch as well as manual overide.
There is the same pump configuration within the engine box for the bilge.
Bimini comes with vessel but never fitted.

The engine is 4 cylinder turdo charged diesel unit.
The engine has a single display which shows a variety of information when the menu is scrolled though and is also connected to the GPS Chart Plotter so information can be seen here as well.
The most useful is the fuel meter which shows current flow flow.
The controls are FLY BY WIRE and the steering is power assisted

There are two Optima batteries, each with a switch and a link switch. charging is by a Blue Sea Systems VSR (voltage sensing relay) so once the engine is running all batteries get charged.
The hull is GRP construction with Plywood sandwich molded deck. The internal void in the hull is flow coated as well as the underside of the deck to limit water penetration into the lamiante. The engine box is molded and fitted to the hull during the build process. There is a recess in the deck for the fuel tank and within this recess there is a Tek Tanks plastic fuel tank with a 200 litre capacity. the cover plate for the fuel tank is fibreglass sandwich the same as the rest of the deck.
There is a custom made bathing platform on the transom as well as the rear removable bench seat. The two seats are shock mitigating Coastal Pro units. There is an anchor locker fwd with a CE plated hatch, within the big anchor locker there is foam padding and an anchor cradle for the anchor to fit in, chain and warp is there as well.
