DESCRIPTION

The Hanse 345 exudes German engineering and craftsmanship. Her hull is solid laminate set in polyester resin, with outer layers set in vinylester and finished with isophthalic gelcoat to resist osmosis. The deck is balsa-cored with no mechanical fasteners in the deck joint except for hardware like stanchion posts.

The keel is cast iron-fin and ballast bulb. The waterline length is maximized with a plumb bow and a square transom. She has a lot of big-boat features nestled into a compact design. The cockpit is spacious with twin wheels, a table with folding leaves and a wide fold-down transom. The Simrad electronics are easily viewed from either wheel. Sail management is simplified with all lines, including the double-ended German mainsheet, feeding to a pair of Lewmar 40 winches on either side of the wheels.

The Lewmar windlass makes setting the anchor easy.

The cabin is artfully laid out with and aft stateroom and a V-berth, a saloon with an L-shaped settee and an L-shaped galley with chart table. Of note is the luxuriously large head, with an “XXL” bath with separate shower. Lots of stowage capacity! The main saloon has 6'3” headroom and has a good amount of portlights and hatches. The full-size table with folding leaves provides a great area of socializing, and the full-length settee can be an extra single berth or pulled out to for a double berth.

The standard sail plan includes Dacron sails and a roller furling jib. An optional upgrade was purchased for this vessel when first commissioned: ELVSTROM FCL triradial cut performance sails, full batten, main and self tacking jib, plus Dyneema halyards for the main and jib. The Siden MDS slider system and the Gennaker gear package including halyard, 2 sheets, 2 blocks and 2 padeyes were also upgrades.

The engine was also upgraded. The 27hp Volvo D1-30 diesel engine, saildrive and 2-blade fixed prop powers this vessel nicely.

Here's your chance to enjoy the luxury of a late model, high end performance sailing yacht. Don't let this one get away! And if by chance she goes under contract, call us to go through our remaining late model and new inventory.
