EXTERIOR ARRANGEMENTS
Freemans are renown with their versatility and usability for all inland waterways, Lady Jayne is no exception being a wide beam example with a workable fore deck, side decks that run uninterrupted to the stern. The cabin tops feature full length handrails to the topsides and the boat is finished with all original Freeman fittings. The stern features a good sized cockpit again with original Freeman fittings covered by a recently replaced canopy and with a helm seat to port and rear seat for four, cabin doors are located to starboard.She was last lifted out over winter 2015/16 and painted with two coats of anti-fouling paint. She has a new mast bought last year
INTERIOR ARRANGEMENTS
FORWARD CABIN
Two V berths with storage below, an overhead escape hatch and 4 surrounding windows, storage shelf under the fore deck which is fitted with a pull-out TV shelf
FORWARD HEADS / WARDROBE
Located on the starboard side of the boat and fitted with a Chemical toilet, To the port side a wardrobe with several shelves.
DINETTE / SALOON
Located to port and featuring a large table which can be set as a table for four, removed and stowed against the boat side or make into a double berth. Beneath the seating forward are 2 drawers for storage and aft a large cave locker outboard. Above the dinette is a hand crafted crockery and glass cupboard with cut outs for plates, cups and glasses.
GALLEY
The cleverly located and designed galley is situated to the starboard side with ample storage in 3 cupboards a sink with hot and cold water supply and a full oven, grill and 2 burner hob all of which are hidden away beneath foldaway work surfaces.
ENGINE ROOM
Emily Jane is fitted with a original Ford Watermota Sea Wolf 1100cc petrol engine, the engine has been annually over-wintered and serviced.There is a 240v ring main fitted with trip switches. The hot water heater can be heated from this mains supply. There is a 13amp socket in the engine room for an over-wintering heater. The boat features Hot water to the basins heated by the engine or with an immersion heater via shorepower
