These traditional Malay boats are famous and have been sailed the South China Sea for centuries.The Naga Pelangi was built as a replica along the lines of a traditional Terengganu “perahu besar” of the Pinas type starting 2004 and was finished and sailing in 2010. The boat is 72’ over deck and 97’ overall and has 4 double cabins with private toilet/shower. Since launching she has been operating as an attractive charter vessel in Langkawi, Malaysia for the last three years she was chartered exclusively by a five-star hotel there.
