DESCRIPTION

GRP Hull, with 10mm Epoxy treatment below the waterline.

If you like classically beautiful sailboats, we are proud to offer for sale the very last sailing yacht built and launched by the Cheoy Lee shipyard in Penny’s Bay, Lantau Island, Hong Kong. Designed by David Pedrick of Pedrick Yacht Design, the bluewater capable yacht is well-suited for both offshore racing and local cruising, is Cat 1 ISAF Offshore certified, and has competed in the China Sea Race. As stated by the owner, the yacht is “..an offshore racer with a total displacement of 22 tonnes, her design is the old good style with 13 winches all over the boat. The design is many years old, but the boat is like brand new. There is no other boat like her in the world, her only sister was built in a cruising version and is today located in Australia.”

For many years, the owner has loved his yacht will a full heart, and has meticulously maintained the hull, engine (John Deere) and rig (Navtec). This romance between owner and yacht is sadly drawing to a close, as the owner has relocated back to Europe, so the time has come for this beautiful sailing yacht to find a new home port. She is berthed at Subic Bay, Philippines, and with a full suite of navigation aids, generator, and much more, she is well-equipped for sailing in all corners of Southeast Asia and beyond. Note: both the hull and keel were treated with 10mm of epoxy in 2009/2010. As a result, the yacht is the most durable vessel in the harbour and will never have osmosis problems. Please contact us to arrange viewings, and to bring offers for this sea-worthy and eye-catching boat.
