DESCRIPTION

The Broom 35 is a medium powered semi-displacement motor cruiser. Andrew Wolstenholme based the design upon the same criteria as the highly successful Broom 38, which offers owners the enjoyment of cruising inland waterways of Europe combined with a serious sea cruising capacity. An extremely high level of finish and overall practicality, for which the Broom name is renowned, compliments the soft stylish lines of the 35. The 35 features the traditional Broom configuration, a full aft cabin, spacious deck saloon, fully equipped galley, guest cabin, and two separate toilet compartments. The aft deck has a sheltered helm position, which is fully protected by a two-part hood, a hinge down mast, and excellent all round visibility. The 35 is available with either a single or a twin engine installation, and is capable of speeds up to 16 knots with the appropriate engine options.

Additional Description

  • The aft cabin is a Broom speciality, and the 35 is no exception.
  • There is a large double berth, spacious wardrobes, ample drawer space, and full headroom.
  • There is plenty of light from opening windows and an escape hatch to meet European safety standards.

  • The saloon has all round, toughened tinted glass windows in aluminium frames, which provides plenty of light and makes for a comfortable living area.
Aft Cabin En-Suite Toilet
  • Complete with sea toilet, moulded washbasin and vanity unit with cupboard and mirror, 240 volt shaver point, towel ring, toothbrush/glass holder and toilet paper holder.
  • There is an opening window and fixed ventilation.
  • The shower is separate within the compartment with hot and cold water, shower curtain and sump drainage.

Additional Description

  • The galley is an essential component of any serious cruising craft, and Broom has created a stylish and ergonomic space.
  • Standard galley equipment includes a large sink, three-burner hob, oven, electric refrigerator, hot water provided by a calorifier, and plenty of cupboard and locker space.

Additional Description

  • As with all Broom boats, only the best marine diesels are considered for the 35.
  • The standard specification provides for a single engine with a hydraulic gearbox, coupled to precisely engineered stern gear.
  • Twin engines are also available. Please contact us for price list and details of performance figures and costs.

Additional Description

  • Designed by Andrew Wolstenholme to give excellent handling qualities, when fitted with either single or twin engines, the 35 is produced for cruising offshore or on inland waterways.
  • The mouldings are manufactured by Aquafibre, ensuring excellent quality and durability with isopthalic gel coat and resins, backed with powder bound glass mat to reduce the risk of osmosis.

Additional Description
