Top sides and hull getting fresh buff/wax right now! The bottom has received a full coat of ablative paint and all new zinc's. The hull just had a 3M compound and finish and then a coat of colonite by hand.
Located in Copiague, NY, this 1986 Bayliner 4550 Pilot house is one of the most economical (15 kts @ 1 gal/mile!!), efficient and best laidout boats ever produced. The shallow draft makes this vessel one of the most versatile boats for cruising in the Great South Bay without sacrificing size or accommodations for long stays. Barrier coated for extended stays in the water without the worries of water getting into the gelcoat.
Always maintained with an open check book. "Ivander II" has benefitted from the loving care of only two owners. Seller has service records from 1996.
The HINO motors are indestructible. Manifolds have been pressure tested and ceramic coated along with the exchanger inserts acid washed to remove any scale. Turbos have been changed over to water cooled and the risers are ceramic coated for longevity. The transmission coolers were recently replaced including all new lines. Both water pumps have new impellers and the starboard side completely rebuilt.
The canvas around the cockpit makes a whole additional room and the bridge canvas will protect this boat for years. A four step compund and wax process was just completed on the entire boat. The bilges are spotless.
